Personal data will be processed for specific purposes (e.g., sending our
newsletter by email after you click on the confirmation link that will
be sent to you, sharing data within the group or with other third
parties, evaluating data for marketing purposes) if you have given us
your consent.
2.2 Contractual or pre-contractual obligations (Art. 6 (1b)

We process personal data that is required for the performance of a

pre-contractual measures taken at your request, e.g. via our website

In order to safeguard our legitimate interests or those of third
parties, data is also processed for specific purposes after prior
weighing of interests, e.g. to ensure house rules are observed, to

Brevo provides analysis tools that enable us to evaluate the success of
the newsletter distribution and uses Google Analytics, among other

The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Google assures that, if IP anonymization is activated on this website, your IP address will be truncated by Google within member states of the European Union or in other signatory states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. 3.5 Use of social plugins from Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn,
and YouTube
Our website uses social plugins ("plugins") from social networks.
To increase the protection of your data when visiting our website, the
plugins are not integrated into the page without restriction, but only
using an HTML link. This integration ensures that when you visit a page
on our website that contains such plugins, no connection is established
with the servers of the provider of the respective social network. If
you click on one of the buttons, a new window will open in your browser
and take you to the page of the respective service provider, where you
can (after entering your login details, if necessary) click on the Like
or Share button, for example. For the purpose and scope of data
collection and the further processing and use of the data by the
providers on their pages, as well as your rights in this regard and
setting options for protecting your privacy, please refer to the
providers' privacy policies.

3.6 Anonymous or pseudonymous usage options
You can visit our websites without providing us with any personal data.
Pseudonymized usage data is not merged with the data of the bearer of
the pseudonym. Pseudonymous usage profiles are not created.
4. Categories of recipients
In order to fulfill the intended purposes, the necessary data may be
accessed by different departments within our company. Processors
employed by us may also receive data for specific purposes, e.g., for IT
services, document destruction, and marketing. Other recipients of
personal data may also include public authorities, credit and financial
services institutions, lawyers and tax advisors, or credit agencies.
5. Transfer to a third country or to an international
organization
Data will only be transferred to third countries if this is necessary,
for example, to perform a contract or if it is required by law, if you
have given us your consent, or if this is stipulated in a collective
agreement or works agreement, e.g., in the context of a group data
transfer. Furthermore, it cannot be ruled out that an IT service
provider from a third country (e.g., the USA) may, in rare cases, gain
access to personal data. Otherwise, no personal data will be transferred
to third countries or to an international organization.
6. Duration of data storage
We store personal data for the duration of the contractual relationship;
in addition, the statutory limitation periods are generally three years.
Various storage and documentation obligations apply, e.g., from the
German Commercial Code (HGB) and the German Fiscal Code (AO), which can
be up to eight years.
7. Right to information, correction, deletion, restriction,
data portability
You have the right to information under Art. 15 GDPR, the right to
rectification under Art. 16 GDPR, the right to erasure under Art. 17
GDPR, the right to restriction of processing under Art. 18 GDPR, and the
right to data portability under Art. 20 GDPR. The restrictions under
Sections 34 and 35 of the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG)
apply to the right to information and the right to erasure.
8. Revocation of consent
You can revoke your consent at any time. You can also unsubscribe from
our newsletter by clicking on the unsubscribe link in the newsletter.
Please note that your revocation only applies to the future.
9. Right to lodge a complaint
In addition, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data
protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR in conjunction with § 19
BDSG).
10. Obligation to provide data
You only have to provide the personal data that is necessary for the
establishment, execution, and termination of a contract or that we are
legally obliged to collect. If you do not provide us with the necessary
information and documents, we will not be able to establish or continue
the business relationship you have requested.
11. Automated decision-making in individual
cases
We do not use fully automated decision-making to establish and execute
the business relationship. If we use these procedures in individual
cases, we will inform you separately if this is required by law.
12. Profiling
We sometimes process your data automatically with the aim of evaluating
certain personal aspects (profiling), e.g., evaluation for targeted
customer approach, needs-based advertising including market and opinion
research, and scoring or rating. The evaluation may include, for
example, data on payment behavior (e.g., account turnover, balances) as
well as criteria such as industry affiliation and experience from the
previous business relationship.
13. Categories of personal data
We process the following categories of personal data, for example:
Personal master data, contract master data, contract execution and
termination data, order data, data for the fulfillment of legal
obligations, creditworthiness data, scoring/rating data, advertising and
sales data, data about your use of our telemedia offerings (e.g., time
of access to our websites, apps, or newsletters, pages clicked on our
site or entries), and other data comparable to the categories
mentioned.
14. Data sources
We process data that we have received from you in the course of
our business relationship as well as data that has been lawfully
transmitted to us by other third parties. We also collect data from
publicly available sources (e.g., industry and debtor directories,
commercial registers, press).
Information about your right to object under Art. 21 of the
General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
Right to object in individual cases
You have the right to object at any time, on grounds relating to
your particular situation, to the processing of personal data concerning
you which is carried out on the basis of Article 6(1)(e) GDPR (data
processing in the public interest) and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (data
processing based on a balancing of interests); This also applies to
profiling based on this provision. If you object, we will no longer
process your personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling
legitimate grounds for the processing that override your interests,
rights, and freedoms, or the processing serves to assert, exercise, or
defend legal claims.
Right to object to the processing of data for direct marketing
purposes
We process your personal data for direct marketing purposes. You
have the right to object at any time to the processing of personal data
concerning you for such marketing purposes; this also applies to
profiling insofar as it is related to such direct marketing. If you

process your personal data for these purposes. The objection can be made
informally and should be addressed to:
